Why the error "Change of field Reference Key 2 is not possible. Field is not open for input" appears while using API Journal Entry - Change (Asynchronous) ?
The field "Reference&" is not open to input, so the API Journal Entry - Change (Asynchronous) raises the error.
Resolution
Reference field settings in the SSCUI 102393 - Define Field Status Variants should be checked.
These fields can be found in the field status group YB29, under General Data.
