Error when updating Item Group GL

Hi Experts,

When I am updating the Item Group> Accounting Tab> Stock in Transit account, I get this error: "[SAP AG][LIBODBCHDB32 DLL][HDBODBC32] General error;287 cannot insert NULL or update to NULL: Not nullable "AbsEntry" column 'Item Group - Warehouse' (OIGW)"

Any ideas why is this throwing this error?

From the message, it looks like data corruption in the table.

Raise this issue to SAP Support or upgrade to latest version.

I am having this issue whilst updating the Expense account on Item Groups. Have you managed to find a fix on it?

Was there a definitive solution to this question? I am experiencing the same error message within Item Groups. Any ideas or further input is appreciated.

Hi ,

We have default warehouse bin location in Item group master if that warehouse is Inactive you will get the error.

Try with relogin into SAP or with restart the server.
