This is only a warning message, and it disappears when I press Enter, but it's annoying because it shows up when recording every characteristic, and I’d like to turn it off.

There was a problem with the data migration.

The target value, first upper limits, and the other limits were set to 0.00. Only the upper and lower specification limits were correct. After removing the wrong values from the inspection plan, the system correctly recognized the specification limits.

This warning occurs because the recorded value exceeds the upper limit defined in the inspection characteristic (MIC) master data or inspection plan. SAP gives you the chance to override it, but it warns every time.

The result is exactly the value, which matches the upper specification limit, but the system is rejecting it as “too high.”
