Error when copying to cost center group KP97

Hi Experts,

I want copy activity dependent primary cost data from one plan version to other plan version and getting error " no activity type planning carried out ". Why we need to enter activity type planning in kp26 while copying the data in kp97 ? I just wanted to copy cost from previous month to actual month. Last time while copying data , we did not get any error.
