Error "Changing not possible; field is read-only" is displayed when we updated the Renewal Rule is header
Go to Sales Orders - Contracts
Select Contract
Edit and View All
Under General -> Renewal and Cancellation
Change the Renewal Rule
System shows Error "Changing not possible; field is read-only"
Request clarification before answering.
Dear Customer,
The renewal rule entered in the header will copy into items which are not Completed/Cancelled. It is to alert you, there is at least one line which is completed/cancelled.
The error message appears after you changing the renewal rule but before clicking Save button. However, you are still able to click SAVE and see the success message.
