Error on Serial Number while doing Goods Return in VL02N

Hi All,

I have a scenario.

I have done Stock Transport Order from Manufacturing Plant to Depot Plant. The Item serial number is 8.

Then, there is a sales that has gone to end customer.

Now, due to some problems, the item is returned by the customer to Depot Plant.

After we do sales returns, I do return STO from depot plant to Manufacturing Plant.

I raised, ME21N- Supplying Plant as Depot Plant and Receiving Plant as Manufacturing Plant.

I did VL10B and then VL02N. In VL02N, I am getting error message on Serial Number. I am not able to select the same Item with serial number 8 and do PGI.

I checked with some SDN threads and tried working out, but I am not succeeding.

I went to BS22 and tried changing the Error message to warning message and then also went to IQ02 and gave the location as depot plant. But in VL02N I am getting the error message as

Error message: Deficit of SL Unrestricted-use 1 EA : T430000060 IF28 FG

Please suggest how do I resolve this?

right now I do not see any relation to a serial number in this message.

SL means storage location

are you sure you have unrestricted stock of material T430000060 in your plant IF28 in storage location FG?

this message is discussed several hundred times in SCN.

I had by mistake done another PGI with same material resulting in no stock in  MMBE.

Now, I have created a new STO and doing PGI in VL02N.

I am getting the following error messages.

Error 1- System status EDEL is active (EQU 10137045)

Message no. BS013

For this message I went to T Code-- BS22 and tried changing the message from error to warning, but the system is not allowing to save the changes.

I even tried in IQ02 by assigning the Serial Number in Plant location. But no success.

Error 2- Serial number 8 cannot be used here

Message no. IO201

Please suggest.
