Hello @belaiche

Error item 10: A record transferred on 02/28/2025 lacks a personnel number, indicating that the user confirming the repair order is not associated with an employee record containing a valid personnel number. In SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, confirmations for service or repair orders always require this employee association.

Please check the following;

Maintain Employee Master Data

    • Go to the Manage Workforce or Maintain Employees app.
    • Make sure the person performing the confirmation exists as an employee and has a valid personnel number.

Assign Business User to Employee

    • In the same app, confirm that the Business User ID is assigned to the employee record.
    • Without this link, the system cannot derive the personnel number during order confirmation.

Organizational Assignment

    • Make sure the employee is assigned to the correct organisational unit, for example, the service org or plant relevant to the repair order.

If you find that the employee record is missing, go ahead and create it. If you notice that it exists but is missing some details, such as the business user link, simply update the record to fill in the gaps. This way, everything stays current and complete.

Once the business user is properly linked to an employee with a personnel number, the repair order confirmation should work without errors.

Hope it helps

With kind regards

Chuma

Hello,

The error comes likely from master data. You can try the following:

  1. Verify Personnel Records: Ensure that the personnel master records are correctly set up in the system. The message indicates that there is no personnel number associated with the record transferred, which suggests a missing or incorrect personnel data configuration.

  2. Check User Authorization: Sometimes, missing personnel numbers could be related to insufficient authorization for accessing personnel data. Verify that the necessary roles and permissions are properly assigned to the user trying to confirm the order.

  3. Create Personnel Records: If the personnel record is truly missing, you might need to create or update personnel master records in your SAP system to associate a personnel number with the repair order.

Best regards,
