Unable to send the case to the service provider due to the following error:

"Cannot send to the provider; please update your e-mail address and/or telephone number. For help, see the quick guide in the Help Center. To report the incident internally, deselect the Forward to Service Provider checkbox"

This may be because data for the key user is not maintained correctly in the system. After maintaining contact details of the key user, user can send the case to service provider.

Please maintain the following contact details for the key user in the contact data:

  • E-mail address
  • At least one phone number

Use following steps to maintain contact details for the key user:

  1. Go to the Home work center
  2. Select Self-Services view
  3. Select the Self-Services Overview sub view
  4. Select Edit My Contact Data link under the Company Address Book section
  5. Enter at least one phone number (Office Phone or Mobile Phone)
  6. Enter your E-mail address.
  7. Select Finish button to save contact details.

This can be also performed on

  1. Go to the Administrator work center
  2. Select Business Users view
  3. Select the Employee Overview sub view
  4. Search for the Employee
  5. Select Edit
  6. Add Phone and E-mail
  7. Save the changes
