Equipment does not create Asset Master record

Hi All

I want to create asset master when equipment master is created in IE01. I have configured in "Automatic creation of equipment master records" - "Specify conditions for synchronization of master data".

For one specific asset class, under section "edit equipment master record", I have marked "Create Asset" -> "2 Direct synchronization after saving".

I am expecting asset will be created when equipment is created. But it is not happening. Where am I going wrong or Is it not possible ?
