Does anyone who uses EPI-USE's DSM Object Synch in SAP have any guidelines, rules, or "gotchas" that you have implemented to ensure that there is no negative impact from using Object Synch to copy data from one SAP instance to another?
For example there is a guideline provided by EPI-USE, "Generally, use overwrite mode for transactional data and update mode for master data." So, when we need to copy transactional data, we first copy the relevant master data using update mode and then copy the transactional data using overwrite mode.
Any other cautions or guidelines that we should take into consideration a we start to use this tool more?
