EPC-992 - WBS on consignment stock - Public cloud

We have a business case for assigning consignment stock to a WBS element in our public cloud solution.  We see from the following KBA’s that this is a solution that SAP has provided a solution for, but this does not seem to be available for Public Cloud.

The reasons for this requirement are:

Allowing WBS assignment directly in the Consignment Issue sales order would:
• Eliminate manual ledger adjustments
• Provide real-time profitability tracking at the production line level
• Improve reporting accuracy and efficiency
• Fulfill contractual obligations with customers regarding cost
transparency per production line

As this seems to be unavailable now, you could try to Submit Feature Requests for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Product

In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, assigning WBS elements to consignment stock is currently not supported.

The notes 3332652 and 3033182 apply to On-Premise or Private Cloud only. Notes 3515778 and 3476355 confirm that this process is restricted in Public Cloud.

For now, the WBS assignment is available in specific project processes, but not for consignment.

If SAP extends this in the future, it would be communicated through release notes or influence requests, but as of now, it's not available in Public Cloud
