Enable project for CLT for TDD partner tenant

Hi everyone

I would need to work on localization for a non-localized country. Is there a way to enable project for CLT on the CBC for the demo tenant for the partner, considering that we must to create projects on the CBC of both types, evaluation for the customizing and development tenant?

Hi Abdeslam,

Configuration Localization Tool (CLT) is a feature of the SAP Central Business Configuration and it is included in the Cloud TDD for SAP S/4HANA Cloud – one-system landscape subscription. As currently in Early Adoption Program please request the activation of this feature by raising a support ticket (component X4-CBC-OOL). Include the SID / Tenant ID of the given Cloud TDD system to ensure a fast activation. Please see that the activation of CLT cannot be reversed and take care about current implication with regards to the activation of sample demo data.

Dear Stefan,

according to note 3107866, CLT cannot be used on TDD systems if SAP demo data was activated. Same applies to SAP starter system. Is this subject to change? Of course, as a partner, we activate demo data in a TDD system. Same applies to SAP starter system for our customer projects.

As a partner, we'd like to test-drive new(er) features on our TDD or the starter system - which is prevented by this restriction.

Thank you for the question. The functional restrictions of Configuration Localization Tool explained in detail in note 3107866 are currently valid and there is no feature rollout via this comment functionality to be expected.
