Email Template should not trigger for Auto PR Release Approval in Flexible Workflow

Hi Everyone ,

I have created an Email template for PR release approval process and its working fine for Flexible Workflow . The Problem is email template is also triggering for Auto Approval for PR release . This should not be trigger .Anyone have idea how to restrict the mail process for that.

Thanks for the link , I did the same , Here I am giving you some idea , I have created Email template for

node 000020 and its working fine. Now here problem is Auto approval is also triggering the mail because its triggering Approve email template. This should not be trigger.

You could define conditions via BAdIs SWF_WORKFLOW_CONDITION_DEF and SWF_WORKFLOW_CONDITION_EVAL:

Hi Dinesh,

those BAdIs don't have the purpose to determime approvers, but to define starting conditions that can be configured in the FIORI app for the flexible workflows.

This BAdI is only to define pre-conditions for the steps in the workflow, or whether a particular WF is considered at all. If all of those conditions do not satisfy, then the last one is selected, which is the Auto-Approve.

Email being sent out after approval is independent of whatever this BAdI does. So the actual question is still not answered, how to prevent the email being sent only for the auto-approval case?
