electronic document service installation failed

[M911]

The upgrade installation of electronic document service post-upgrade failed.

I was able to upgrade to SAP Business One FP204HF02. Now i want to update to SP2411 but the EDS installation always fails.

The logfile shows following abnormalities:

[12:09:24][AM FEINSTEN] [OUTPUT1] EDSDeploymentTool execution failed with exception `HttpRequestException`: Request to server responded after 3 tries

[12:09:24][AM FEINSTEN] [OUTPUT1] 2025-01-24 12:09:24,061 ERROR [ 1] [EDFBackend.EDSDeploymentTool.Program]: EDSDeploymentTool execution failed with exception `HttpRequestException`: Request to server responded after 3 tries

[12:09:24][AM FEINSTEN] [OUTPUT2] Target installation environment is corrupted. Required dependency SLD and SL services are missing.

Hi M911 

In EDS logs please check what error it is showing?

Windows:

• C:\ProgramData\SAP\SAP Business One\Log\SAP Business One EDS

Linux:

• /var/log/SAPBusinessOne/EDS

In version 2411, there is a certificate related change happen so while perform server tools installation there is a checkbox "Enable certificate verification" and if this checkbox is enabled then you could not use "Self Signed certificate" option(this option you get on installer screen).

Certificate must be valid as per note 3537539 and  should be imported via "reconfiguration wizard".
