EKKO-FRGSX not updating for customised Contract Type ZMK

Dear Gurus,

I'm using ECC6.0

I created contract type ZMK by simply copying the standard SAP Quantity Contract MK. When I create a contract using ZMK, EKKO-FRGSX is not getting updated (blank). However, when I create the same contract with the same contract details using MK, EKKO-FRGSX is getting updated and a release strategy is triggered.

Is there any reason why there is a breakdown for the update to the EKKO table for field FRGSX ?

Please note that my characteristic values for my release strategy includes both MK and ZMK.

Dear Experts,

I am trying to update the "Created by" (ERNAM) field in the EKKO table for a contract (Purchasing Document Category (BSTYP) = K). I used 'BAPI_CONTRACT_CHANGE', but it is not updating the "Created by" (ERNAM) field, even though other fields are being updated successfully. I also used the commit BAPI, but the issue persists.

Could you please advise if there is any alternative method to update this field? Are there any available BADIs or User Exits that can be used for this purpose?

Please note that my characteristic values for my release strategy includes both MK and ZMK. 

check the characteristic for document type in CT04 if it allows multiple value assignment.
