Efficient ​Ways to Modify G/L Account Master

I'm working on migration, and I have a problem about G/L account master.

In my recognition, you can't create either new chart of accounts and account master. This means I must modify the account master already made. There are tons of account master I have to modify, however I only found "Mass Change" in Manage G/L Account Master Data application, which is not useful for migration.

I'm imagining following 3 steps are needed to migrate account master. Do I have to modify all manually or is there any efficient way to do them.

1. Disable the account master which my company don't use

2. Modify the account master's text to fit in the way my company use

3. Modify "Field Status Group" in side G/L Account Master Data > Company Code Assignment.

Of cource I read similar question asked in 2019, but I'm hoping new ways to modify was released in this 3-4 years.

I have three important points to mention:

1. In SAP S/4HANA Cloud, you can create G/L accounts, and the scope item for this topic is BNG - Create G/L Account and Cost Element. You can download it here Link Best Practices Master Data.
2. Before any change, please look at all the information in the Roadmap Viewer regarding "Adapt Chart of Account". The accelerator Chart of Accounts Configuration Overview can help you know more about the benefits and the things to consider. Link Roadmap Viewer.
3. The only way to do Mass changes in the G/L Account master data is through the Manage G/L Account Master Data app.
