EDOC_ADAPTOR_CLOUD BADI Implementation for XML data modification in SET_OUTPUT_METHOD

I am doing E-invoice Integration in SAP Public Cloud With Excellon GSP partner. All Mandatory Configuration in CBC & I-flows deployment have been done in CPI.

Now the requirement is we want to have Quantity Conversion in XML data at the time of E-Invoice creation EDOC_COCKPIT or MANAGE ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS Application.

For this i am using a BADI (EDOC_ADAPTOR_CLOUD) in which SET_OUTPUT_DATA method is available where XML data can be modified in CS_OUTPUT_DATA structure. This BADI Implementation is being done in ADT(Eclipse).

Can anyone suggest me how can i use SET_OUTPUT_DATA method of BADI EDOC_ADAPTOR_CLOUD to modify XML data for IRN generation?

Hi Sunil Kumar.

You can try the following steps in S4HC Public/Private Edition. 

1 Open ADT with backend to your launchpad. Press Ctrl+Shift+A and search for ES_EDOCUMENT_CLOUD Enchantment Spot.

2 You need here EDOC_ADAPTOR_CLOUD Badi there. Add new BAdI implementation. 

3 You also need implementation class. Create and activate it. 

4 Open implementation class. You see bunch of methods for redefinition. 

Method if_edoc_adaptor_cloud~change_edocument_type allows you to change Electronic Document Type. 

Method if_edoc_adaptor_cloud~is_relevant allows to define if current Billing Document relevant for creation respective Electronic Document for it. 

Method if_edoc_adaptor_cloud~set_output_data allows to update values of XML document before printing/sending it. 

5  Lets debug it and see what fields if_edoc_adaptor_cloud~set_output_data allows to change. I have created EDoc for Invoice 

Set up a breakpoint in if_edoc_adaptor_cloud~set_output_data and Submit Edoc you will catch the debugger where you can see what fields you can replace. 

I think this is a good starting point for your investigation.
