Dear Sir,

I have an employee who is hired with wrong prsonnel no.I need to edit the personnel no assisgned to him.Please guide me how can do so?Payroll of the mploye is not run yet.

Hi Sonali,

Delete personnel number using report RPUDELPN.

Set number range in PA04 transaction to external and then userequired personnel number and set number range back to internal if required.

One of my user has done hiring for this employee.I dont have data to rehire the employee.Is there any mechanisum to copy all the data(infotypes maintained) from previuosly hiried employee prsonnel no to correct personnel no to be hired in the system?

Hi,

Hire the employee with correct personnel number.

Maintain incorrect personnel number with IT0031 for the employee id of correct personnel number so all data of incorrect personnel number goes to correct persoonel number and then may be you can delete incorrect data.

Hi Sonali,

You cannot edit personnel number.

Use Tcode PU00 to delete the employee data and rehire him with correct personnel number.

And Change Number Range accordingly in PA04, If you are using internal Number Range.

Hi sonali.

You can take data from the employee's existing infotypes like from 0001 u can get his enterprize stucture... 0002 personel data..

Same way check all the infotypes maintained for that particular employee.

Then rehire the employee with other personnel number and maintain the same data in all infotypes...
