When updating an instance in trial account due to ECN parameter issue not able to edit the configuration for the instance
Request clarification before answering.
I believe a new version of SAP HANA Cloud Central has been rolled out today which I hope resolves this issue. I tried it quickly just now and was successful.

Dan

You can delete the instance, if you do not have a ton of objects on your HANA CLOUD, or you can take a backup of those from the HDB Explorer.
Now instead of creating your instance from BTP cockpit, try creating an instance from the HANA CLOUD CENTRAL. In my case, I had to enable PAL(Predictive Analytics Library) to develop a Intelligent HANA Application, however I could do not do so due the same error I got while saving and restarting my instance.
You can configure your instance with your required parameters in HANA CLOUD CENTRAL. Ideally this should work.
Please note that, this is only a work around and SAP BTP / HANA CLOUD Team needs to fix issues with the trial account.
