Hi Gurus,
I am configuring ECM for Bill Of Material. When I create Change Master with CC01, I give list of BOMs to be changed. Can I change all BOMs in Change Master no. Or I have to manually change BOM with T. Code: CS02 and assign CM no. ?
Throw lights on it as client needs BOM to be changed at single screen using Change No.
Comment on it.
Regards,
Pradeep
Hi,
Yes you need to do the chages manually for the BOM's ion Tcode : CS02 one by one
Steps for changing the BOM's using change Master :
1. Activate the change history for the BOM
2. Create Change Number in Tcode : CC01 and assign the BOM materials with Plant and usage as objects .
3. Goto CS02 and enter the material number , plant, bom usage and change number and go to next screen and modify the required Items and Save.
Hope this will help you.

Dear Pradeep,
1.For individual BOM changes you have to create a change number using CC01 and choose the object
types as BOM and save and use this change number in CS02.
2.IF it's a mass change then use CS20 and you have to use a field exit to make it mandatory so that
without a change number you are unable to enter into the T code for making the changes.
3.Likewise you can also use CEWB for making BOM changes, but to work with this you have to
coinfigure the working area in OP77,
Also check these links to know more about Change numbers.

Come backwith your further queries.

Pradeep,
You need to change it manually, and while using transaction CS02 for changing BOM you need to assign the ECM so that what ever changes you are doing will be recorded with this change number.
Hope it helps you

Ritesh
