ECM calculation base

hello SAPpers,

when calculating base for annual salary to use in bonus & fixed increase calculations, does ECM only take a snapshot (in our case ASAL) using date in V_T71ADM10-BSEDT - Calc base KeyDt ?

Is there any way to consider promotions during the year and use average salary e.g. employee gets a new position and salary from the middle of the year - will ECM use the salary as at 31.12.2013 or will it aggregate the 2 salaries over the year?

Hi Nick,

The new salary will reflect in ECM. On promotion in middle of year, Infotype 8 will be updated with new salary in ANSAL. Generally for PA0759 the ANSAL field is considered for the calculation base.   Thanks.

so if the cycle runs 1.1.2013 - 31.12.2013, and my salary & position changes in November, what ANSAL is used? My new November salary or can ECM be configured to aggregate salary over the 12 month period?
