I want to know about the difference b/w ECC VS S/4 Hana for Plant maintenance module?

1)What Changes that S/4 HANA did now for 2022 release in PM Module?

2)What Benefits we will get from those changes?

3)How good are those changes w.r.t ECC?

4)How business will get help from those changes means in terms of efforts/time saving/cost saving anything?

So Gurus need your help on this urgently.....

Check Simplification Item Catalog for Maintenance Management business area. That shows the differences / simplification as compared to ECC:

Then check What's New Viewer - SAP S/4HANA viewer for the same business area and all S/4HANA versions. That shows S/4HANA innovations in the area of plant maintenance.

We are using at this moment the Fiori environment for almost two years and we really are missing an app for the Asset Viewer. Indeed in GUI there was IH01, form here you could navigate to other environment. (notificiatons, orders, tasklist etc) In Fiori they have tried to build it as Ultimo, but SAP did not succeed. It is a pity because Asset Viewer do have all items to become a succesfull navigation tool for Techncial Objects. I already reached out to SAP in the past, but no reaction. There was a promise to do something in Q1-2024, but I never heard anything anymore. The basis of Technical Object has disappeared in Fiori.
