ECC 6.0 IDES Installation Requirement

Dear Members :

Planning to install SAP ECC IDES 6.0 on VMware Linux (guest). Could someone please advise me minimum requirement of Disk Space and Memory.

The host OS is Windows 7 64bit. I don't have access to Service Marketplace. Do appreciate very much.

Hi Atanu,

Based on which IDES version you want to install EHP6 or EHP5 refer following SAP notes for database size relevant for the database .

Note 1601314 - IDES ERP 6.0 incl. EHP5

Note 1761605 - IDES ERP 6.0 incl. EHP6

You may add additional disk space of 100 GB for logs and SAP kernel over and above that.

Minimum RAM should be around 12GB to begin with.

I don't have access to Service Marketplace.

You might rather look for one of the trial versions then: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/software-downloads

But those tend to be running on windows...
