E-mail address Error in Supplier Evaluation- Create Template | S/4 HANA on premise 1809

Hi All

We have on-prem edition of S/4 HANA 1809 deployed on cloud for training purpose.

I am testing the Supplier Evaluation cycle as per the below BLOG : https://blogs.sap.com/2020/04/10/sap-s-4hana-supplier-evaluation-steps/

I am able to complete till " Create Template " .

But getting error " Enter a valid e-mail address " during release.

Hello Dinesh, 

This error message often occurs when either no address has been entered in a certain field that requires an email address, or the address entered is in an invalid format. Here are some possible solutions that might help you:

Check email field: Go to the point in the process where you are creating the template and make sure you have filled in all the fields correctly. Especially the email field. Make sure you enter a valid email address in the correct format.

 

Check user settings: Check if the user configuration is correct and if there is a setting that requires an email address for the process. It could be that no valid e-mail address is stored in your user profile or in the system parameters.

Analyze the error message: If the error message "Enter a valid email address" appears directly after saving or publishing, it could be that a template or workflow is linked to a specific email recipient that is either not configured correctly or missing.

Check workflow and permissions: If the supplier evaluation cycle is part of a workflow, make sure that all relevant workflow settings and permissions are configured correctly, especially regarding email notifications.
