How to create a dynamic date variant in SE16N? (Past 60, 90, 120 days etc.)

You will have better luck getting an answer by adding different tags to this question. The PLM Variant Configuration tag has to do with the creation/modeling/troubleshooting of configurable materials (KMAT's). Your question has to do with variants used to store selection criteria for reports/transactions. The two are very different.

SE16N (sadly) doesn't offer the "Variant Attributes" function that you will find when saving a selection variant for most transactions - including ye olde SE16! So we're stuck with using SE16 if we need to create Data Browser selection variants with dynamic variables, most commonly dates. A poor oversight by SAP IMHO. And a feature that should be fairly easily implemented given the appropriate motivation - anyone up for a class action? (relax SAP, just kidding - but it would be valued by a large group of users... please?)
