Dynamic bin error

Hello,

I have a transfer requirement created from prod.order release. One of the component has DYNAMIC BIN check in control cycles. When I try to convert TR to TO I get an error that the "storage bin xxxxxxxxxx bin in ST does not exist".

Why do I get an error when dynamic check is there for component. Pls help me.

Manu, Issue/message clearly shows that the dynamic bin for the storage type does not exist.

Checks:

#1. Hopefully you are using the standard configuration and the storage type for production supply 100.

Check in 'Define Storage bin structure' config for the combo of WH No./Storage type 100/Sequence number whether details are fine.

#2. Alternatively check the WM stock overview for the details which would clear the doubt about the existence of bin details.

#3. Ensure that under movement types in the WM system config, the details for the combination of WH no/Movement type (319 if you are using the the standard details again) details exist.As we know this defines how a TO should be created etc.,

Hello Srini,

We are not using standard PSA 100 ST, we have 2 PSA say example 240 and 250.

Since we have two STs, in WM movement type for 319 movement destination ST is blank and dynamic is not checked.

Hence, I think that is the reason system is not not creating dynamic bin but in control cycle I maintained as dynamic for 240 ST.

Hi Manu,

Please check the dynamic destination storage bin coordinate: was set in the movement type.

WM/PP staging on order release via transfer requirements

Also make sure that the bin exists please check in LS03N.

Thanks Rupesh,

his is PSA storage type and do not think we need to maintain dynamic check at movement type level. I have done this in control cycles.

My only concern is, when I say dynamic bin in control cycle, why system ask me to create a bin.

was there any solution for this issue? I am facing same issue in my system.. dynamic bin not created.
