DWG Thumbnail not Displayed in DMS

Dear Expert,

DWG files extensions are not displayed as Thumbnails in DMS. I´d checked the note 2343074 that confirm it is not a standard functionality.

The note says that is possible to use function to convert the image. Is there any standard SAP function to convert DWG to JPG or any other support file type?

Is there any other sap note with further information how to implement the BADI DOCUMENT_THUMBNAIL to generate a url for DWG?

Is it mandatory to install a Conversion Server?

Dear Eder,

as far as I know you need a special converter for achieving thumbnails for DWG files. As mentioned in the note generally the thumbnail display supports graphics in JPG, GIF or BMP only.
