DVM Self Service ST release for ERP legacy system

We are currently in discussion of enabling self-service DVM to our Solman system.

As per 2035999 - FAQ: Automated DVM self-service documents / New DVM EWA chapter setup and creation, it mentioned about ST SP12 as I assumed minimum version to proceed but it doesn't indicate the release.

Can you please provide your inputs if this is regardless of the release?

Here is the current version of the Solman systems:

SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SP08
ST 720 SP08

MSSQL 11.00.7507.02

From below extraction from note 2035999, your solman version SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SP08 fully supports the function:

"Symptom

Additional information and documentation on the following features are required:

• Automated DVM  self-service documents

These features are available starting SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP12 and in SAP Solution Manager 7.2"

Hi David, Thank you for your answer. Just to make sure, since you mentioned that SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SP08 fully supports the function, it doesn't matter for the release of ST12 like release 720 ST12?

Combining the KBA Symptom contents, Guide mentioned 'ST SP12' should mean for ST710 SP12 or above.

Hi David, just to make sure again, our current ST component version is ST720 08, based on your statement "ST710 SP12 or above", can we proceed with the next steps or we need to upgrade the ST in SP12 first before we proceed?

ST720 08 means SAP Solution Manager 7.20 SP8. According to note 2035999 "These features are available in SAP Solution Manager 7.2", there is no restriction on 7.2 SP level.

Hi David, thank you for your answer. Can you also confirm if DVM was previously requested from SAP to see what SAP tables are of high volume, and now it is pushing to self-service run via Solman?
