Hello,

I think you should provide more details like the quantity of the production order and informations in MD04.

However, i don't know if the SO's quantity is 50 and it was splitted into 2 planned orders one planned for 30/01/2025 and one for 31/01/2025 due to capacity availability of the work centers during these days.

Regards,

Houda.

Hello

It is very difficult to find out the root cause of the issue, without having enough information about it.

What I can tell you is that the most frequent cause for duplicated orders generated by MRP is some problem in the rescheduling check.

Sometimes MRP generates a planned order to cover a requirement and then you move it to the future when converting to production order. If the production order is outside the rescheduling horizon, or not included in the rescheduling check, then MRP might create a new planned order to cover the requirement.

Best regards,
Caetano

Hi Catetano,

The first production order has created on 30th Jan and then second production order has created on 31st Jan. As per the config (OMDW) the rescheduling horizon has defined as 100 days.

Hello

I don't think we can help you to find the root cause of the issue at this point.

As I mentioned, the most common cause for the issue is the rescheduling check, but we cannot know for sure if this is the case just by looking into the orders already created.

Caetano
