dunning interval days

Hi consultant,

in dunning procedure, there is a parameter on dunning interval in days, say 14.

if run daily, system will count the run date and compare with the last dunning run which is the day before until the 15th day, system will dun the customer if still overdue.

may i know what if i run f150 weekly instead of daily? say interval in days 14, how the system count? is it by the run date when f150 is run or the system still will count by day even though it is not run by day.

Explaining:

NO, you don't need to run the dunning every day. You can run it when you want and your scenario will work.

I could understand you q clearly but

Below is example for clear idea about it

Lets say your Cust Inv is on April 21, 2010

Now we per your dunning procedure, lets say that dunning Level 1should be done after 30 days and Dunning Level 2 after 45 days.

Lets say that you run Dunning today (F150) on May 21, 2010 (Run Date). Then Dunning Level 1 is triggered and you can see that in your customer master data, the last dunning date updated as your run date.

Now if you run on May 28, 2010 again, the system will not pick any invoices for dunning, you have to run it on June 05, 2010 for you to trigger Dunning Level 2, 2010.

the system would not give you any dunning results means it will not select any items for dunning . dunning runs on run date..

correct me if i not correctly understand.

are you saying that the system will count base on the dunning date as the number of executing dunning on the F150 selection screen. if run weekly, then system will count it as 1 run since the last run and will not add up days not run in between.

Hello,

During every dunning run, the system then checks whether the run date is at least this number of days since the date of the last dunning run. E.g: Current date 19/05/2010, system check the last run date 12/05/2010 ( less than 14 days ). It won't dun again the customer. Previous run date 14 ( more than 14 days ) customer will be dunned.
