DS Alternative resources with different run rates

Hi

I am working in the process industry and are using PP-PI

We have a need for alternative resource with different times.

Beside that we need drag and drop functionality. So I would need to use the "classes and characteristics" method.

Are there a standard way to give these alternative resource different run rates?

If not, then any smart ideas 🙂

Hi Jesper,

Alternate resources can be done two ways

1. Adding them in recipes as alternate sequence...here you can have your own rate and use a note (507025) to move it to ppds (Drag and drop can be used with this approach too)

2. Using class..here you need to use a BADI custom logic to have different rates for different modes..dont think there is any easy non custom way to do this..

Hi Jesper,

If you are using the class and characteristic method, you would need to use the BADI with the logic so that the different run rates are modelled. Standard doesn't allow different run rates to be modelled.
