We have an application based on NCo 3.0 to connect to SAP application servers. There is a case from some users that when they configure F5 Load Balancer and use our app to connect, the port being used is 48xx thus connection failed. Since we dont specify any port to use inside our application, it looks NCo makes some decision here to treat F5 LB as a gateway: is it by design? Or it connecting to F5 LB supported by using NCo 3.0?
Request clarification before answering.
I had a project in 2017. I tried to connect to F5 using Oracle OSB's SAP RFC adapter, but it's not succeed.
I plan to use the OSB cluster to connect the SAP server dual machine, through the RFC adapter.
Connections are fine, but they are very unstable to use.
In the end, I gave up and still connected to an sap server using the OSB cluster, without going through F5, which I've been using ever since.
