Document Splitting (Public cloud edition - note 2868475)

Dear Community and Product Experts,

SAP note 2868475 describes that the document split can only be adjusted by the SAP Product Expert. The document split is therefore active by default in the cloud. Onpremise I can set up the document split and disable it per company code.

Since the settings are blocked, we have two questions.

1) Is it possible to deactivate the document split only for some company codes?

2) Are we correct in assuming that once we disable the document split, that we cannot re-enable it in the cloud. Since this would involve a migration project.

It is not possible to deactivate document splitting in S/4HANA Public cloud.

Note 2868475 relates to document splitting characteristics, not the deactivation of document splitting.

See in the help.sap.com documentation Document Splitting the following stated

"You can view the document splitting characteristics in the Define Document Splitting Characteristics for General Ledger Accounting configuration activity. In your configuration environment, use the search function to find and open this configuration activity. For more information, see SAP Note 2868475 ."
