DNS configuration details for Onboarding Form in SAP S/4 HANA RISE

Hi ,

I am in the process of updating customer onboarding form. I got all information from the customer which is required from them. But at DNS configuration section, customer planning to acquire a new domain, which has not yet been finalized and may take some time.
In the meantime, they have the following queries:
1. The customer seeks to understand the DNS configuration and the purpose of a DNS subdomain, as well as primary and secondary DNS. I reviewed the attached PDF file on DNS configuration but couldn't find the specific information the customer requested.
2. Since they are planning to move to a new DNS, can we maintain the existing DNS details in COF for now and update the settings in the future if needed?

is it mandatory to provide S2D details? We dont have S2D documents to submit. What is the alternate step to do this?

1. DNS Configuration & Subdomains: DNS is used to resolve domain names for SAP S/4HANA RISE. A subdomain organizes network traffic,
and primary/secondary DNS ensures redundancy.
2. Existing vs. New DNS: You can use the existing DNS details in the COF and update them later when the new domain is ready.
Inform SAP support to facilitate a smooth transition.
3. S2D Document Requirement: If S2D details are mandatory but unavailable, consult SAP support for alternative documentation options.
