DMS DC20 data carrier

Dear SAP master in DMS

I am about to add some pictures /documents in inspection method (tcode QS33) through creating document (CV01N). Previously through some guidances I need to modify data carrier using tcode DC20 with some steps:

a. a. I have created data carrier type (define data carrier ‘server, front end’)

b. b. I have define the servers and files or folders

c. However, when I continue to click the node Identify front end computers, the default entry button is grey and appears warning “No entries found that match selection criteria”. It seems like I cant create new entry for this step ? So how to add new entry for this particular step. Kindly give me a detail guidance.

hi, I face the same issue with DC20. I believe the value DATA CARRIER TYPE = DE (greyed out) is an issue - cause it should be PC instead.

Hi Teddy,

thanks for the latest screenshots. Are you able to confirm the message about the missing data and then use the create icon for the default entry?

If not then maybe it would be easier to insert the following dataset into table TDWD directly:

DTTRG DEFAULT
TYPDT PC
NTADR
CVTEXT Default for local PC
SERVERPATH
FTP_CNAME
INACTIVE

could you please check if you have marked the frontend type created also before navigating to node "Identify front end computers"?

Also please note that there can be only one DEFAULT entry. For further advice please send us also screenshots of the other created customizing here in DC20.
