Hi Guru's
We have finished goods which are stored in PC (Piece). The production unit is CAR (Cartons). I each Carton there are x-number of pieces.
Th requirement is in CAR and the production order is in CAR, but the planned order is in PC (Piece).
The bom Structure is:
Level 0: The finished goods ie. CAR
Level 1: Packaging materials.
Level 1: Product - (Phantom Material) (Piece)
Level 2: Raw materials for the product (Piece, CM, Gram, etc.)
The production unit is CAR, and is correctly displayed on MD04, in production orders etc. via defined conversion rules from PC to CAR.
When working in the graphical planning table (MF52), and displaying a planned order from the pool of orders, the planned orders displays the order quantity in PC.
Is it possible to display the order quantity in the planned order in CAR instead of PC ?
Thx in advance
Finn
Found out that the UoM Production unit is not relevant for planned orders, it is only on production orders this information is relevant.

Hello,
Have you defined the Production unit in work scheduling view of your material master?
Check if OSS note 1437026 - MF50 loses standard UOM setting from initial screen valid for your release.
As I know in MF50 control tab you have option to select Standard UoM = Production Unit.
