Discontinued and Follow up Material

Hi Gurus

I have one issue that I am facing with discontinued material i.e. Dependent req is not flowing to Follow-up material even after the stock of discontinued material is zero.

I had maintained all the required pre-requisites in BoM Material Master everywhere but am facing the issue kindly help me with the Same.

A few things to check.

1. If using the BOM discontinuation group, make sure the discontinuation and follow up pairs have the same BOM line item.

2. Also check dependent requirements for the discontinuation material. I've seen cases where the demand is pulled forward on the component that is being discontinued and the MRP just continues to place PR's.
