Discontinuation indicator for both items

Hi Experts,
If production order has missing parts, its reservation will be shown against discontinued material in MD04.

However, when I check this prod order, I can see Discontinuation indicator for both items (follow up and discontinued). Please suggest why it is showing that indicator for both items?

1. set the Discontinuation indicator in MRP4 View, and also set the effective date and follow-up material.

Which means after the effective date, if the system found the material set the Discontinuation indicator relevant reservation, the system will transfer the reservation into the follow up material automatically.

2. check the BOM

In BOM,  the material which set Discontinuation indicator which is as a component item.

3. check the production order.

The system will transfer the reservation from the Discontinued material into the follow-up material.

So both (follow up and discontinued) items will be shown in the production order together.

If you don't want to show both items, you can change the BOM（In this case, you can change the component into TT_RM30 in BOM）, that will be only shown the material TT_RM30.
