disable autocomplete / predictive text

I am not sure of the name of the feature, but an example is in Post General Journal Entries, in the Header area, if I type a couple numbers in the G/L Account field, the system autocompletes an account in the field for me and also presents a box with Recently Used accounts as well as other closely matching accounts.  Similar functionality is found throughout the S4C system.

Does anyone know what this functionality is called?

Can it be turned off, either globally or per user?

Hello Ralph,

Thanks for interacting through SAP Community.

In cloud systems, the functionality is called "Enhanced Search".

Through the Portal, if you have access to the menu "More", please follow:

1. More >> GUI Actions and Settings >> Settings... >> Interaction Design >> Visualization
2. Then you can disable the button "Enhanced Search".

It is needed to set this for each user.

This change only affects visually harmonized apps, and does not affect native Fiori apps.

Is there a way to disable the feature in native Fiori apps? My guess is that there is not.
