Direct FI postings in Account based CO-PA only

Hello,

We have only account based CO-PA activated. However, for direct FI postings we do not see these postings getting reflected in CO-PA reports.

In COEP table the CO document is not updated with PAOBJNR and the cost object assigned is cost center only.

Is there some settings like OKB9 we need to make for an account to make the postings reflect in CO-PA?

Hi,

The cost object you need to select is profitability segment, not the cost center.

Thanks Ravi. But then the user need to select the PA object. I am looking for some kind of automatic assignment of PA object in direct FI posting. I know we can't do it in costing based CO-PA. But was not sure about account based CO-PA.

Hi Sanjay,

Please maintain the COPA derivation rule in KEDR transaction code to pick the profitability segment automatically as per your business requirement.
