Hello,
Dear experts, Can you tell me the diffrence between the activities in the costing view of the work center and the key words realated to the standard values in the basi data of the work center.
Thank you.
Hi Marouane,
Basically you see the same thing in both the screens. When we assign a standard value key on basic data tab it shows the dimensions which would be used for in formulas, capacities etc.
When you see the same in basic data you can mention whether the value for the same is mandatory/not required etc. in routing. Different work centers can have different standard value key depending upon their nature/requirement (example one can have set-up and machine time on the other hand another work center can have only machine time, just as an example)
The same keys are visible in costing tab but here we assign the activity type which basically calculates the cost for this activity in the production orders.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Rahul

Elba,
Standard value parameters are used to determine the Processing times,Capacity requirements and Costs these parameters are used in formulae.
Where as activities in costing view are exclusively used to calculate the direct cost for any particular operations.
