Hello.

https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPMan/How+the+subcontracting+requirements+are+displayed+in+tr...

In wiki, If Subcontracting Stock is in shortage - they pull SAP Demand from plant in ECC.

But In hana, It doesn't even if I didn't assign MRP Area. It just disapper Subreq in MD04 - So total requisition is wrong.

Here's Example - There is a 2 stores, and there is only 1 which are assigned to MRP Area.

I've send subcontracting both of store - But In MD04 - There is only 1 which are assigned to MRP Area, so It makes total wrong (Subcon Sloc 1, Plant1 Product)

Hello parkchanseul

See the note 2586059 - Collective notes about Subcontracting MRP on S/4HANA systems It nicely explains difference in subcontracting handling between S/4HANA and ERP. You can display both net planning segment and subcontracting requirements in one view using "Intra-Plant" tab.

See the blog Improvements for MRP areas in S/4HANA – Intra-Plant View on how to active intra-plant view.

Well.. I already using intra-plant view. It shows nicely as ECC shows - If you setup MRP Area properly.

and It's right - supplier stocks are seperated with other suppliers.

In ECC - If supplier stocks are depleted - they send supply request to plant - but it's not working in HANA.

Is there any that 'type' of process? If supplier's stock is depleted - it's deficit stocks are send to main plant, and change to PR with main plant, not suppliers - I know it's odd, but it's process sadly.

For other example - Store A have currently 10 items, but it have a requision of 100 - Store A handle just 10, and other 90 is toss to main plant, to Subreq 90- to main plant, not Store A MRP Area.

Hi,

In your example, you have two stores, and only one of them is assigned to an MRP area. When you send subcontracting to both stores, the subcontracting for the store that is not assigned to an MRP area will not be reflected in MD04. This is because SAP Demand is not pulled from the subcontracting stock for the store that is not assigned to an MRP area.

To resolve this issue, you need to assign both stores to an MRP area. Once you have done this, SAP Demand will be pulled from both stores, and the subcontracting for both stores will be reflected in MD04.

Furthermore, refer to this link SC - Planning Components to be Provided

Thanks for quick answer!

Yes, I know It might be solved If I assigned both store to 2 MRP Areas - But the problem is, in fact, one of the store is not a 'real' store - It's just storage which are goods are loaded, so It should be included with the main plant.

The problem is, Supply requisition CAN be happen in that Subcontract stock because other SFG use that item, so it should be stacked with main plant supply requisition - not on that 'store'.

In ECC - If they don't have enough items in their inventory - remaining supply requisition is sent to the main plant -

But In HANA - They just hide it.

For example - I need a 50 items for Store A, 30 items Store C, and they don't have any items currently.

It sends a main plant for supply requisition for 50 items, and 30 items (shows like -50, -30)

In HANA - They just don't show - they need a 80 items total, but I can't see them from MD04.
