Depreciation Run in Sequence (Planned)

Hi All

Is there a way we can prevent depreciation run which is not in sequence? For Example- We ran last depreciation in period 9 & if we try to run it in period 11 it gives us warning message/error message.I got a SAP Note No-3441599 but it is not applicable in S/4 Hana. I also saw a message AA697 but it only gives warning message for future depreciation but doesn't validates if depreciation sequence is planned or not. I want to avoid doing enhancement.

Pls advice.

Hi All

The only option is to keep posting period close until you run depreciation of current period which is not a straight forward solution but it is the only option without enchancement of Tcode-AFABN.
