Depreciation below zero

Dear Experts,

how can an asset be depreciated below zero (after reaching the end of useful life) in S4 HANA Public Cloud? I tried depreciation keys LINA and LINC, both stop calculating depreciation values after the book value of zero is reached. The flag "Negative values allowed" is set. Is there anything else I need to consider?

I think you could only achieve this by posting depreciation manually. 

What is the business rationale for NBV to be less than zero?

Hi Mark, thanks for your reply. For cost accounting purposes we would like to see the imputed depreciation after end of useful life of assets. This would only be in a non-posting depreciation area.
