hi

I had posted one asset using f-90 but the system is calculating deprecciaiton based on document date as captilisation date.

I want the system to take posting date as captilisation date.

So can any one tell where i has to do setting for canging the captilisation date from document date to posting date

Hi,

The Capitalisation Date = Asset Value Date of first posting. In most cases the user will just use the default AVD generated by the system.

The Default Values for this are specified in SPRO

Asset Accounting> Transactions > Specify how Default.........

Kind regards

Hi,

Normal the capiatization date is the first time you make a posting on the asset and it is not possible to change it. In this case you can change the depreciation start date to the date you want to start the depreciation.

When you make the first posting, the capitalization date this is the date you fill in the field Asset val. date
