Delivery from project GI movement type

Dear SAP experts,

When using delivery from project (CNS0), delivery type LP, the standard Movement type for GI is 281(Q).

For a customer this needs to be changed to 601(Q) for the COGS split.

Valuated project stock is in use.

Is there a way in customizing to change the GI movement type only for delivery from project?

Hi,

Check t-code OPT1 and try changing the movement type to the one you want the system to derive when using CNS0.

Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately this will not solve the issue, the delivery is still picking up 281(Q). Also I believe when chaning OPT1 you are not changing this only for delivery from project but also for normal goods issue to network.

Since the Delivery is being created in reference to the Project and not a Sales Order you need to use the 281 Movement Type so the costs properly flow to the project. See if you can apply your COGS split settings to this movement type.

I can confirm that 281 is hard coded and can't be changed. We will apply the COGS split to Movement type 281 and create a new movement type for normal consumption
