Hi ,

Please help me how do i maintain delivery creation cutoff time in SAP for different scenarios :

1 . Order placing after 6 PM should not be allowed to create delivery and it can be scheduled for next day , how to configure that .

2 . Also how to get the time set to create a delivery ?, if i want my order to be delivered in 24 hrs then how do i set up in SAP with route settings ?, What time do i configure to get 24hrs ?

Please help.

Hello Alex,

The Shipping Point has a Factory Calendar which can have Working Times.

Further the Shipping Point can also have Loading time and Pick/Pack Time which can influence the Delivery creation date.

If a Order has to be delivered in 24 hours, we have a concept of Rush Orders, which is a separate Order Type and it carries unique Shipping Condition. Based on this 1 Day Route is determined and also a special ATP Check is triggered (based on User Exit) in Sales Order.

Further Transit time can be maintained in the Route.

hey Jignesh ,

Thanks for your help !

I have one question, my client requirement is they want to have different services for 24, 48,72hrs time taken to deliver the product at customer. But how do I configure?, Do i need to create different route for every service ?, If yes then how do i make sure it be 24,48,72 hrs as if i make pick/pack and loading time dependent on route and also maintain transit and transportation time at route ?

Hello Alex,

I would see the different services - 24, 48 and 72 as separate Orders Types which will have unique Shipping Conditions and Shipping point. Based on this you can have Loading / Pick Pack Times and dedicated Routes for each service.

Thanks,
