Delivery Completed Indicator for service PO

Hello MM Sapper’s,

I would like to know the reason why the Delivery Completed Indicator for service PO is not appearing in item detail of delivery tab page.

Are that means if a NO delivery completion Indicator tab on services PO is that consider the PO CLOSED? Please give me your valuable inputs.

My issue is I need to set final invoice indictor for service PO via customized transaction where the delivery completion indicator is set as prerequisite in a program hence need your inputs.

I have also simulated in Quality system where I couldn’t able to view the Delivery Completed Indicator for service PO.

Thanks for the note.

I have gone through the note.

Is this a standard SAP behavior for service PO?I have gone through the SAP AG material where it says “The purchase order item without a Delivery completed indicator is also considered complete if the entire purchase order quantity was delivered”.

If so in my case the GR qty has been already delivered and my PO are considered closed as per my understanding.

Can you also let me know why the delivery complete indicator is set hidden on purpose for service orders?

Please let me know your views on my understanding as well.

in a service order you have to use the final entry sheet indicator.

The two indicator interacts, hence you should only make use of the desired one.

for normal items then final delivery, for services the final entry sheet indicator.

if you order 1000 and you get 1000, then this order is considered closed even the delivery complete indicator is empty.

Hi,

Can suggest to business for having two different PO document types for material and service procurement ie ……..ZNB for Material PO document type and ZSER for Service PO document type.

Assign Field Selection Key NBF to ZNB and Field Selection Key PT9F to ZSER in following path:

SPRO --> MM--> Purchasing --> Purchase Order --> Define Document Types

Use above path and do not allow item category D for ZNB document type.

Now go for procurement process for material & service and see how system behaving for your requirement.

Hi,

Since there will be no receipt of items,the delivery completion indicator will not appear in the purchase documents such as External service PO's,Blanket PO's,

Even though if we want to trigger in the item level we have to configure it in field selection in screen layout assigned to the Document type.

Hi,

Check Service Document type and Field Selection Key assigned to Service Document type.

OR

You can now, assign Field Selection Key PT9F to your Service PO Document type & save in following path:

SPRO-> MM--> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Define Screen Layout at Document Level

Go for creation of new service PO, SES & MIRO and can view Delivery completion indicator in Service PO Document type(ME23N)

Hello Experts,

I have checked the SPRO configuration referred by you where the Field Selection Key - PT9F under Selection group - GR/IR Control the Delivery completed indicator marked as Optional entry.

In my case for service PO we do use Standard document type – NB and item category – D where I could able t o view the configurations maintained correctly in Define Document Types.

Still I am not clear why the Delivery completed indicator is not appearing in service PO line items and if a NO delivery completion Indicator tab on services PO is that consider the PO CLOSED? Please give me your valuable inputs.

Check the below configuration :

SPRO--MM-Purchasing-Purchase order- Define Document types

Here check , For Service order document type which Field selection is define.

Generally  SAP Provide  field selection PT9F for service PO.

Check it via :

SPRO--MM-Purchasing-Purchase order-Define screen layout at document level.

Here you can check the under GR/IR Contrail, that "Delivery completed" is marked properly.

Based on the above configuration, able to have that Check box in Service PO.

If u have created the Z document type for service PO, Please  check which filed selection assign to it and detail of that Field selection as given above.
