Deletion of Dummy Profit Center

Dear Experts,

We have activated Classical PCA and done some testing for reporting purpose.

Now we want to delete the Dummy PC ,but it is grayed and unable to delete.

Can any body help me as how to delete the Dummy PC?

Its very much possible to delete dummy PCA

Refer notes 702854... It has all the steps you need to deactiavte Classical PCA and also the program to delete Dummy PC

Thanks for your input I followed the same scenario, it worked. Firstly we have to create one empty report name like this Z30PCA23. after that, we have to implement the S-note 702854. So, once the note is implemented the code is automatically stored (insert) in that empty report. so, After that we have to execute the program in se38 (Z30PCA23). The Dummy Profit Center will be deleted permanently. Note : the S-note was released on Version: 21, Released On: 27.12.2023. So, now we can delete the Dummy profit center. Thanks & Regards Venkatesh

Hi,

you cannot delete the Dummy PRCTR, ths is used to ensure that every posting has at least this Profit-Center assigned to.

Thanks Mr CO for your reply.

We don't need the Dummy PC as we will be activating the New GL Funtionaliy.

We just created Dummy PC for testing purpose.

Please suggest any solution for deleting the Dummy PC.

As explained, you cannot delete it. This is the inherent nature of Dummy Profit Center.
