Deleting the status dependant project version

Hi ,

I have maintained the status dependant version profile. So once I release the project then status dependant project version is getting created.

Client wants this version to be deleted. We have tried to deletet this project version in CJ02 then we getting following error message,

" Version RELEASED is controlled by status. You cannot delete

Message no. CJ271

Diagnosis

You want to delete a status-controlled version.

Procedure

You cannot use this transaction to delete status-controlled versions. You can only delete time-dependent versions. Select a time-dependent version and delete it. "

Do you know how to delete the status dependant project version ??? Does there any SAP note for it ???

Hi,

"Note 160884 - Report for the deletion of project versions" can be checked.

You can delete versions in CN41 -- Extras -- Delete Project Versions.

Not sure whether status dependent are deleted in standard. Lets check.

Hi Krisap,

I have implemented the note 160884. But this note is deleting all the versions.

I want to delete onlye one project version ...

If a project version is status dependent, then it is not possible to delete.
